Wedding Player 3.0: iCloud sync, and a home for every wedding

Wedding Player started as an app a dad built for his daughter’s wedding. Version 3.0 is the biggest step since launch, and it is built around two things couples and professionals kept asking for: your wedding in more than one place, and a proper home for more than one wedding.

Build on your iPhone, run it from your iPad

With Full Access, your wedding now backs up to iCloud and stays in sync across your iPhone and iPad. Plan the ceremony on your phone over breakfast, then pick up your iPad and it is already there, ready to play. A clear status indicator tells you when everything is up to date, so there is no guesswork before you go live.

One honest note on what travels: your moments, running order, fades, and Apple Music selections all sync. Audio files you imported from a device stay on that device for now, so set those up on the one you will actually use on the day.

A home for every wedding

If you run weddings for a living, this is the big one. Wedding Player Pro now keeps every couple’s ceremony in its own workspace. No wiping, no rebuilding between couples. Your weddings group themselves into Today, This Week, Planning, and Archive, so the one you need is always a tap away and the ones you have finished get out of the way.

It is the difference between starting from scratch for every booking and walking in knowing every ceremony is set, in its place, and ready. See how it works for professionals.

An easier track trimmer

Trimming a track to start and end on exactly the right note is simpler now, with a dual-handle slider for setting both points at once.

Free to download, fair to own

Wedding Player is still free to download and build with. Full playback, Live Mode, the offline readiness check, and iCloud sync come with a one-time Full Access purchase for couples, with no subscription, ever. Running weddings professionally? Wedding Player Pro adds multiple-wedding management on a monthly or annual plan, with a free month to start. The full breakdown is on the pricing page.

Wedding Player 3.0 is on the App Store now. Your ceremony is the one part of the day you cannot redo, so make it perfect.

Common questions

Does iCloud sync cost extra?

No. iCloud sync is included with Full Access, the one-time couples unlock, and with Wedding Player Pro. There is no separate charge.

Is managing multiple weddings for couples too?

Couples plan one wedding, so Full Access covers a single wedding beautifully. Managing several weddings at once is a Wedding Player Pro feature, built for venues, celebrants and planners.

What actually syncs?

Your ceremony plan: your moments, running order, fades, and your Apple Music selections, across your iPhone and iPad. Audio files you imported from a device stay on that device for now, so add those on the device you will use on the day.

Do I need to be online on the wedding day?

No. Wedding Player plays everything offline once your tracks are downloaded. iCloud sync is about getting your plan onto the right device beforehand. The ceremony itself runs in airplane mode.
