What We Collect

Wedding Player does not require an account and does not collect your personal details. Your music, events, and settings live on your device (and, if you enable it, in your own iCloud). We collect anonymous, aggregated usage analytics, described in the Analytics section below, to help us improve the app.

Apple Music

If you use Apple Music integration, your interaction with the Apple Music catalogue is governed by Apple’s privacy policy. Wedding Player does not access or store your Apple Music credentials.

iCloud Sync and Backup (iOS)

If you have Full Access or a Pro plan, your wedding can back up and sync across your devices through your own iCloud account. This uses Apple’s iCloud infrastructure under your Apple ID: we do not run servers and cannot read your wedding data. You can switch iCloud Sync off in Settings at any time. On Android, your wedding stays on your device.

Analytics

Wedding Player uses TelemetryDeck, a privacy-preserving analytics service, to understand anonymous, aggregated usage patterns: which features are used, onboarding and purchase funnel events, and crash-free session counts. TelemetryDeck does not collect any personal information. Device identifiers are one-way hashed before being sent and cannot be traced back to you or your device.

How People Find Wedding Player

To understand which channels help people discover Wedding Player, we use install measurement provided by AppsFlyer, together with Apple’s SKAdNetwork. It does not use Apple’s advertising identifier (IDFA), does not track you across other apps or websites, and is never used to build an advertising profile of you. Nothing it collects identifies you, and your data is never sold. In the UK and EEA this measurement stays off until you choose to turn it on, through a one-time prompt and the switch in Settings. Elsewhere it is on by default and you can turn it off in Settings at any time.

In-App Purchases

Purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple’s App Store or Google Play. Wedding Player does not process or store payment information.

Data Storage

All app data (events, playlists, settings) is stored on your device, plus your own iCloud if you enable sync on iOS. We do not operate servers that hold your wedding data.

Children’s Privacy

Wedding Player does not knowingly collect any information from children. The app does not require account creation or any form of registration.
